ماژول UPS محافظ برق در هنگام قطع برق و برای مصرف کننده های حیاتی که نباید وقفه ای در عملکرد شان رخ دهد کاربرد دارد. باید خاطرنشان کرد که این ماژول فقط مختص مصرف کننده های DC با ولتاژ تغذیه 12 تا 48 ولت مناسب است. برای استفاده از ماژول UPS محافظ برق باید به طور همزمان آدابتور و باتری مناسب مصرف کننده را به آن وصل نمود. و خروجی ماژول را به تغذیه مصرف کننده وصل کنید. در این حالت زمانیکه برق وصل است مصرف کننده از طریق آدابتور تغذیه می شود و زمانیکه برق قطع می شود باتری به طور خودکار وارد مدار می شود و مصرف کننده را تغذیه می کند.
